A growing food company is searching for a Plant Engineer in Lake Mills, IA. The Plant Engineer will manage, support, and provide direction and leadership to the plant maintenance department, develop and manage the plant capital plan, and support plant operations and other plant functions. The Plant Engineer will provide technical support for plant initiatives and manage processes using Key Performance Indicators to ensure productivity goals are consistently achieved. This successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and will interface closely with Finance, Purchasing, R&D and both Stage 1 and 2 Operations.

In return, the company offers a good starting salary, benefits and relocation if necessary.

Salary range for this position is $85-95k

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Chemical, or Food Engineering REQUIRED; MBA preferred
-5
years' experience working in Food Industry REQUIRED
-5-7 years of management experience REQUIRED
-Dryer, Pasteurizer and Pre-cooked experience REQUIRED
-HAACP/ SQF Knowledge and Experience REQUIRED
-Demonstrated background in managing projects REQUIRED
-Experience with implementing world class TPM programs
-Strong interpersonal , communication and organizational skills
-Independent Self Starter/Team Player
-Ability to: motivate, lead, problem solve
